Press Release
For Immediate Release
12th March 2019
JETCAM will be showcasing new versions of its nesting and composite automation packages at JEC World, Paris, between 12th and 14th March 2019.
The latest release of JETCAM Expert benefits from several major enhancements. A new ply simulator allows for users to simulate the cutting of a single ply. Expert also benefits from a powerful new report designer, allowing users to quickly create complex custom reports using drag and drop. The release also contains various other customer requests and fixes, as well as four new postprocessors and updates to multiple existing postprocessor.
JETCAM Orders Controller also benefits from dozens of new features and enhancements. New filtering options include the ability to filter plies based on whether they are tooled for a specific machine, or to filter assemblies that include one or more ply names. In JOC Premium Automation, the new Reprogramming option allows entire folders of plies to be reprogrammed with a couple of clicks. When a new machine is purchased all plies can be automatically re-programmed, ready for nesting.
CrossTrack 5 now tracks even more raw and processed materials, and can track consumption by length (rolls), quantity (sheets, etc.), volume (resins, paints) and weight.
All applications are available for immediate download from jetcam.com and updates are free to all customers with a current maintenance contract. Videos on new features are included in JETCAM’s online University video learning library.

JETCAM International has been developing and distributing its JETCAM Expert range of CADCAM software since 1986, serving the sheet metal and aerospace/automotive composite cutting industries. In use in 82 countries worldwide, JETCAM software supports virtually every CNC punching, laser, plasma, routing, waterjet and flatbed cutting machine available today, and provides automation and Industry 4.0 IIoT connectivity. The software has received various accolades and awards due to its high level of automation and fast return on investment.
In addition to seeing JETCAM at trade shows you can also request a demonstration online. This will allow you to see a run-through of the software and ask any questions relating to its usage or integration with existing systems, such as CAD or MRP. We can also provide a nesting benchmark comparison, whereby you provide some DXFs of plies along with your best DXF nest. We will then run this through our high performance nester and provide a comparison. If you know your annual material spend per year you can then calculate your return on investment based on the percentage improvement on the material utilization.
