JETCAM to demonstrate new cutting CADCAM features at MACH 2006

New features include common line cutting and heat avoidance for cutting thicker material

JETCAM will be demonstrating the latest version of its Expert CADCAM software for punching, profiling and routing technologies at MACH 2006. It is being held at the NEC in Birmingham, UK on 15th to 19th May. The latest version has seen further significant advances in nesting efficiency and ease of use.

JETCAM has invested heavily in the development of its automation, performance and assistance features and algorithms, and will be demonstrating several new and enhanced capabilities, including:

Commented Martin Bailey, Group Marketing Manager; “Automation and the areas that customers will save will form the basis of our presentations at MACH this year. The market requires manufacturers to squeeze every last drop of efficiency out of operators, machine and material. By reducing the programmer’s workload, improving machine runtimes and increasing the nest efficiency we can demonstrate a clear return on investment to our customers. One customer that purchased FFHPN saw that it paid for itself in just over a month. They also dramatically reducing machining time through a software update supplied under their maintenance contract. At the show we will demonstrate complete end-to-end automation, with NC programs being automatically generated using JETCAM’s RCP module linked to an external MRP system.”
