JETCAM International Limited today announced the replacement of their freeware Mini-PPS product with the release of two new products - JETCAM Orders Controller (JOC) Free and JOC Professional. Both products are designed to simplify the creation of orders for single components or component assemblies stored in the JETCAM Expert CADCAM system.
JOC Free replaces JETCAM's existing Mini-PPS freeware product and is 100% downwardly compatible with the previous version. Existing JETCAM users can download JOC Free from the JETCAM Online Download Wizard. JOC Professional offers many new high-end features over the freeware version on a per-license basis. These include:
JOC Professional offers three modes of operation - Basic, Global and MSS. Basic is the default mode and runs exactly as JOC-Free but with the ability to enable additional automatic functions. Global mode considers a single JETCAM system to be responsible for all JETCAM orders across a network. Other JETCAM systems are considered to be available simply as work terminals that do not take orders. MSS Mode, or Multi System Synchronized mode distributes component orders to multiple JETCAM systems on a network, with visual on-screen confirmation of all orders allocated to various JETCAM systems.

JOC Free is available from April 2002 for free download to existing JETCAM users with a current maintenance contract. JOC Professional is available from all JETCAM resellers.
