JETCAM International today announced that OMAX will add the JETCAM’s Expert CADCAM automatic nesting software to its existing range of software packages. JETCAM has also updated the product to support the complete range of OMAX waterjet machining systems.
This software was developed with close cooperation from OMAX’s technical and marketing staff to ensure that current and future OMAX technologies are supported by JETCAM products.
Martin Bailey, Group Marketing Manager of JETCAM International, “This will allow new and existing OMAX customers the ability to purchase the full JETCAM programming and nesting solution. OMAX owners today look for an overall nesting solution that they can feel confident with – this collaboration will ensure that our joint customers will benefit from JETCAM’s renowned high-performance automated nesting software in conjunction with OMAX’s leading-edge technology.”
Dr. John Cheung, CEO of OMAX, added,”JETCAM’s Expert Nesting brings us the advantage of high-performance automatic nesting software that integrates well with the patented features of our OMAX machine controller and offers our customers an excellent nesting solution at an affordable price. OMAX is excited to be collaborating with JETCAM, as our latest nesting solution provider to make this possible.”
JETCAM Expert provides a complete 2D CAD/CAM system including automatic tool path generation and nesting optimization, along with multiple levels of automatic and interactive nesting capability. It generates OMAX compatible tool path files that are highly optimized to efficiently cut as many parts as possible from a given sheet of material (or spanning across multiple sheets). These files then can be loaded directly into the OMAX controller to take advantage of OMAX’s leading patented technologies and cutting models for making the parts faster and more precise than other waterjet machines can.
NestONE Solutions, a leading distributor for JETCAM software provides local support.
