Case Study: Borre Metalarefabrik
Borre Metalarefabrik of Denmark had been using a proprietary programming system for over 30 years which, although at the start was advanced was now a bottleneck in the production cycle. It was a closed, non-graphical system that required in-house support and a high degree of technical skill to develop programs. It also did not support the Right Angle Shear feature of the new Finn Power machine recently purchased, therefore Borre decided to acquire a more standard system. They chose to use JETCAM Expert supplied with the machine tool by Camtek A.p.s.
