Jerand Announces Jet*Pro for PTC® Pro/ENGINEER ® Wildfire ™ 3.0
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – August 21st, 2006 - Jerand Technical Services, Inc. announced today that it has released Jet*Pro version 1.0 for Pro/ENGINEER® Wildfire™ 3.0. Pro/ENGINEER is a 3D product design solution that helps companies develop detailed, intuitive and realistic digital product representations. Jet*Pro allows Pro/ENGINEER users to easily export sheet metal part models, including geometry and manufacturing attributes, directly to JETCAM's JETCAM Expert CNC Programming and Nesting System for automatic preparation of CNC programs for punching, profiling and routing. JETCAM Expert, leading the technology in automatic nesting and CNC program preparation, supports all relevant machinery and technologies in all industries including the aerospace and automotive sectors.

Modules in Jet*Pro include Jet*Pro/Part, for single part export, and Jet*Pro/Assembly, for assemblies containing sheet metal parts. Jet*Pro is now available for Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0. Jet*Pro features a user interface that is similar to the intuitive UI found in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0, making it very easy for Pro/ENGINEER users to adopt Jet*Pro. Configuration options specify part orientation, flat pattern definition, layer definitions, manufacturing information, and assembly component selection.
